Mold Removal & Restoration

What Is Mold?

While there are many reports and information on mold, it’s important to understand that mold is very common. It not only grows in buildings, homes, and businesses, but also exists outdoors as well. This means that mold can be present in your home currently, and can enter your home in a variety of different ways.

How does mold grow in my home?

Now that we have determined that mold is essentially everywhere, it’s important to know how mold can spread and grow. Moisture encourages mold to grow within your home and there are many materials within your home that support mold growth such as tiles, wood, dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation materials, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery. Specific areas of your home are also at most risk such as bathrooms, areas where there has been water damage or where moisture is present.

If you are seeing mold spores, feeling flu-like symptoms frequently, you smell a musty or damp smell, or you have a history of water damage or flooding in your home, or you have places in your home that collect moisture. These are all indications that you may have a potential mold problem.

“Black mold” or more accurately Stachybotrys chartarum is the type of mold that has previously been referred to as “toxic mold”. However, all mold in your home should be treated with caution and quicky which is why it’s important to get a mold removal specialist and air quality control team out to determine the type of mold and how to treat it.

From the day they explained what a Public Adjuster is, to handling every aspect of the insurance, to making sure the roof was completed correctly. I appreciated being informed at every aspect of the process and the roof is awesome. You even roofed the dog house to match. Yes I did notice:) I could not be happier with my experience and will highly recommend you to all my friends.
